Spiranac, in her golf career, openly discussed her experience with anxiety last year. While she usually maintains a lighthearted tone on social media, one of her recent posts took a serious turn and evidently touched her deeply.
“I had a background in junior golf, college golf, and even played professionally for a year. However, the pressure and the constant need to keep track of my score took a toll on my mental well-being.
I began to associate my score with my own self-worth, which may sound silly but it had a profound impact on me emotionally. But now, I have rediscovered my passion for the game.

I have started keeping track of my scores again and dedicating myself to improving my skills. While there is no indication that I am training to become a professional golfer once more, I am falling back in love with the game.
